i still get the error "Could not run GTAIV.exe"

i've run GTA4.. i think the crack in the DVD (launcher exe file and paul.dll file) works. i downloaded same stuff from the internet though. what is missing in the dvd is proper instructions on how to crack the game, which i found in the internet after a brief search. here it is:

1. Run the original LaunchGTAIV.exe to pass the release date check, be connected to internet (it starts automatically after installation)
2. Now LaunchGTAIV.exe changes to smaller size
3. dissaalow internet access to LaunchGTAIV.exe, GTAIV.exe and RGSC.exe (rockastar games social club app)
4. copy the cracked paul.dll and LaunchGTAIV.exe into game root folder
5. run LaunchGTAIV.exe again
6. now launch Social club which will ask you to sign in
7. start social club in offline mode
8. click 'play' and the game launches

yes...

now i get the "rmn40" error..i.e i have to upgrade to sp3

oh yea man..its 100% working,,.

i had xp sp1 and i jus did the following.... i can play GTA IV now!!!

Step 1: Run Regedit by Clicking on Start -> Run , type in regedit and press enter
Step 2: Make a backup of your registry (just in case)
Step 3: Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows"
Step 4: Modify the value of "CSDVersion" from "0x00000200" (SP2) to the Windows XP SP3 value of "0x00000300"
Step 5: Close registry editor
Step 6: Reboot
Step 7: Start GTA and freakin enjoy it already!


note: for those who have xp sp1 or 2

I have windows 7 .So no need for upgrading. .Try it it's prominently better that vista and far better that xp.Uses a lot less resources than vista.(More like the same as xp)

there is 1 problem i faced when cracking in xp sp1 in the way mentioned above...i used to get a black screen!

if anyone of u face it, just go to ur GPU control panel and set the settings to default and the first time u run the game, launch RGSCLauncher usually located in "Crogram FilesRockstar GamesRockstar /Games Social Club" let it update and choose to skip login.

well patch ber hobar aage kina uchit na ....... r wait for new drivers ...... i guess pura problem ta thik hoite aro 1 month laagbe at least .......
