I am planning on buying an Intel i5 3470 so I need some suggestion for a motherboard. I am currently using a "MSI GTX 670 PE OC 2GB" so i need a good motherboard which will utilize the full potential of my GFX card. Thank you.

As u are already planned to buy i5 3470 go for any B75 chipset MB like Gigabyte B75M-D3H. Those will cost 6000 to 7000. If u changed ur mind to buy any K series processor (i5 3570k/ i7 3770k) of intel then go for Z77 chipset MB, will cost 10k to 12k. For i5 3470 Z77 motherboard is waste of money!

Since you have the budget for it, why not get the Asrock Z77 Extreme4 for 14k? Also you can get the Z77 Pro3 for 11 or 12k (Forgot the exact figure).

Any B75 will work fine with i5 3470. If you do not plan to overclock with K series CPU you than don't need a Z77. Why don't you look at Gigabyte B75M-D3H. It's better than the Asrock above.

As u have very good budget go for
    1.(3570k+Decent cooler+Z77 MB) or
    2.(3770+B75)
Personally i don't like overclocking, so i choose second option for me. If u are a very hardcore gamer go for 1. If u do some productive work and play game also then go for 2.

BTW, main difference between Z77 and B75 is overclocking capability nothing more! Most B75 MB supports USB3, SLI etc like Z77.

Another thing next generation Intel processor is coming very soon! U may wait few months!

The first PCI-X ver. 3 and run at x16 mode as Z77 offers. Second one is run at x4. i run my AMD HD6950 in second slot only for test and it give me almost same FPS as it give in X16 slot. So its not a big issue!
Intel is lunching there next generation processor very soon and they are changing there socket 1155 to 1150! At that moment spending 12k money on a old socket Motherboard will not be a wise decision! I think!

well, it WILL be a big issue when crossfiring, because there is a misconception among the people like you is that 2 gpu means 200% (double) performance. THIS IS NOT CORRECT. Thats where the term "scaling" comes. 2 ATI GPU can provide max 75-80% scaling and NVIDIA can provide 80-90%. So in that scenerio, if you limit one of your gpu's interconnect speed to PCIE 1.0 x8 (PCIE 2.0 x4 means 1.0 x8 and vice-versa), you will not get even that ~75% scaling from your crossfire setup. Btw, have you ever tested by setting two 6950 Crossfire on that board? How many games you have tested by using crossfire setup on B75 board? Care to share............?

Cf has scalling issues and not only just at b75 but also will be at z77 too but when you used that gpu at 2nd slot then it doesnt fact that much but when you will use 2 then one will run at full speed but anothers speed will be half then it will creat lag. But b75 are good choice if anyone want to use hybrid physx
