    I have visited the link that you have given. There 7750 wins most of the benches against GT 640. How can you say GT 640 is better ?! In terms of TDP, Temp, Noise GT 640 wins but that's not the main fact.

    Radeon 6670 is kinda old. In this budget you can get a GT640. Try the chart below to get the price. Go to market and compare prices from different shops, better if you can get a factory OCed version.

    Nope, 6670 is good but that does not mean it will bring performance equal to 7770 with just a bios flash. And 7770 is not the tweaked version of 6670.

    They are totally different in architecture also 7770 has almost double Texture Units, Z/Stencil ROP Units and Color ROP Units than 6670. Yeah, it's better if he can manage some extra cash to buy a 7770 but that will need a PSU. Another option is to buy a 7750 if possible.

    The HD 6670 has a total different architecture when compared to the HD 7770, how in the world can you flash a HD6670 to a HD7770? All you'll be left with is a brick afterwards.
