Default Help! Returning items bought from ebay

So I bought a pair of in ear headphones from ebay from hongkong for 50 bucks. The left side is defective so I need to return it. I went to the post office to send it back to hong kong, but they are saying they dont ship electronic goods. I did confirm it with the head office of bangladesh post. This is outrageous. Lots and lots of people need to send electronics abroad via mail and this is a huge issue. I am already angry enough that paypal can't arrive in bangladesh due to bangladesh bank's policies, but now I can't return a defective good? If anyone can provide any solutions to the matter I would be grateful. How do the import groups in facebook deal with defective items?

I don't think its worth the hassle for a 50$ headphone. I would just fix it locally. The problem seems rather easy to fix.

It is completely sealed. There is no way that it can be fixed. Do you know any means by which I can send it?

What if a purchase from amazon.ca turns out defective? Do you check it before shipping/do you ship it directly?

the chinese and european transactions are different akta mobile er review te dekhsilam chinese people don't give a ¤¤¤¤ about the warranty system and the buyer have to take all the responsibilities about sending the product even with the original accessories (charger, headphone or earfoams) so basically chinese product and after sells service is a nightmare

yah I do check it and then send it. Plus Amazon is pretty good with doa. For small items they don't even ask you to return it sometimes.

The problem is that the seller does accept return. But how do you return something if Bangladesh postal service says "we dont ship electronic goods"

BD postal service seems to deliver electronic goods when ordered from Aliexpress, maybe they just don't care if they are not made aware of it.
