Question TT Lite Power 500W for a 7850 OC!!!

    Is a TT Lite Power 500W enough to handle a 7850 OC with i3 2120?? it has 36A @12V

    http://www.thermaltake.com/products-...?id=C_00001857

Another option is TT Lite Power 600W, it has 40A @12V

    http://www.thermaltake.com/products-...?id=C_00001859

TT Lite Power 500W is 4700

Do NOT go for the Litepowers. Why and why not, im not going to that discussion as it will take huge amount of time and writings regarding your current knowledge level.

if you short on budget then
    1) wait for a few days and get some extra money>>buy TT smart 550W or CM GX-550 (if available, i'd take this one as performance is roughly same and costs less)
    OR
    2) if you dont want to wait then buy TT litepower 600W. its basically a 480W PSU. if you run it with a quad core processor, your system will run and wont get your system fried but you may not get good results with it (eg. frequent restarts during heavy load)
