    Hi,

I want to buy a Graphic card NVIDIA/ATi between a price 15000-20000. Please also tell me which power supply would be preferable with this. If you kindly tell me if is there any thread in this forum for buying used graphic card.

I got a Gigabyte GTX 560 1GB DDDR5 and a Thermaltake 500W BLACK Edition PSU from IDB Bhaban for 20000 total 2 days ago. I can play all the games on pretty much full graphical configuration. For other specs of my PC check out my profile.

I am not as much of an expert as some people here, but for me, I think it was a good purchase and I recommend you to go for this. Try to increase your budget and get an even better PSU with at least 600W for safety and if you plan to overclock your components.

    Hi sammi,

Only my graphic card's budget is about 20000, not with power supply.

Oh okay. I thought it was your whole budget. In that case you would be much better off with the 7850. You can check it out here: http://www.ryanscomputers.com/model....iten_inv_id=14

It says the price is 23,900. That is 4000 above your budget but if you can manage then it is a very good card.

If you look here for the power supply : http://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/...graphics-cards , then you will notice the requirement is 500W. Mine cost 4,700. You can get it for lesser I'm sure. Or you can play it safe and get a 600W for 6200. There's also a 700-750W (not sure) which was being sold for 7,100. In any case make sure you get a good brand PSU and not a normal, unbranded one. I hope this helps.

    EDIT ---
To answer your other question you can look for used graphics cards in here.

You may be right. I was just putting in a suggestion. I did not notice the coolmaster 550W anywhere so I was not recommending that. Anyway, for an even cheaper option (4600), you can buy the thermaltake 500W Black Edition PSU. It is the one I have and it is working very well with my GTX 560.

    its alr8...
but if he is getting a 7850 then 500w would be a risk...a minimum of 550w is optimum...

500w is more than enough for a gpu like 7850. .it consumes very less power but if you have to spend 23k, then i will suggest you to go for msi gtx 660 it will be better than 7850

Not necessarily, but nevertheless, a good PSU is never a bad investment.

    - - - Updated - - -

@mcurse_curse go for the Sapphire HD 7850 OC Edition 2GB which is worth 22,000/= and look to buy Thermaltake 550W Smart PSU for 6,500/= this should serve you well, and if you can extend the budget a bit further, go for the GTX 660.

Hi , I don't know your display resolution if you have a 1080p display & and you want play any games over [email protected] you should by at least GTX 660 . For 1600X900 resolution you may buy HD 7850 it will give you over 40 fps . My practical experience say that gigabyte have a small life span , less than one year. so you can go for Antech or Crosair or Cooler Master. you need only 450(gtx 660) or 500(hd7850) watts power supply it costs around 4900(gtx660)& 7000(hd 7850) tk although both of this card has one 6-pin power connector. so total cost less than 22000+7000=29000tk(HD7850) & less than 24000+4900=28900(GTX 660). at this moment I can not find any good recent generation(AMD HD 7000 series & NVidia GTX 600 series) card for over 40 fps @ high setting @ 15k to 20k .
