Of course you can overclock an i7-3770k and about how far you can push it with a Tt Frio Extreme? I believe @eXcavator can help there.
I'm using a Tt Frio Advanced & I easily pushed my Core-i5 750 from 2.67 Ghz to 3.61 Ghz. And Load temp stays below 70.

He meant how much overclocking can be done with his stock cooler, as his cousin has taken the aftermarket solution from him.

As its a ivy bridge processor and it has a worse story about high temperature, so you should avoid to overclock this processor with a stock cooler

Try 4GHz, it should be easy to go upto that with the Stock cooler. Don't expect great temps though, mine runs at 70C @ stock clocks with the stock cooler, so considering yours is an Ivy, its going to be a bit hard to push further than 4GHz unless you have a golden chip.
For an Ivy Bridge CPU, 85-90C is in the safe range, so see how much you can achieve within that temp limit.

btw, share some pictures of that cooler. It looks so beast like. <3
