Thread: Need Specs for a Budget PC

Default Need Specs for a Budget PC

    Hi,

I have a fixed budget of Tk.25000 to spend.

    The primary needs are--
    1. Using Office Software-- like word processors, presentation packages and note applications.
    2. Sometimes installing independently coded/rare programs. Like mathematical software, apps etc.
    3. Playing Games-- A mere 15-20FPS at 720p and at lowest details and settings would do fine.
    Optional--
    1. Watching Videos.
    2. Watching TV.

Based on the budget and the needs which one combination should I get?
    1. A Desktop.
    2. An Android Tablet at Tk.10,000 for general computing and a PS3 at $150+tax+shipping.
    3. A Netbook at Tk.23,000.
    4. Others--Specify or suggest what I should go for.

Note the budget might be hilarious, but the idea is to maximise welfare given a fixed budget. So if it is at all possible to fit any electronics in this bundle, do mention it.

    Thank You

I would suggest going for option 2...u can do ur general work on the tablet..nd its also portable nd stylish...but u should get the xbox 360 instead of ps3...coz u have to buy original disks to play new games in ps3...after importing the xbox..make sure to mod it in bashundhara..

U shudnt consider a netbook coz mobility isnt that important to u I guess.
Option 2 is gud. But it depends on the type of work u need to do on Office softwares. I mean its not that easy to type a large essay on tablet.

the only thing u can go for is a desktop... with Intel G620 CPU, H61 Mainboard,4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM & a HD6450GPU... or an AMD A-3870K CPU With A55 Mainboard.

Blu-Ray Internal Drive er eto price keno?? I have a HP G70 120 laptop, and it has a Blu-Ray combo. There are other laptops with the same configuration and they are priced just Tk.1000 lower without the Blu-Ray combo. So according to that Blu-Ray combo er price Tk.3000 hoar kotha, Tk.7000 seems too much.
