Default Brand New Creative Gigaworks T20 for Tk. 2800

I was looking for Creative Gigaworks T20 at ECS & the asking price was Tk. 3600 to 4000. Later, i brought it from the head office of the dealer of the Creative Bangladesh & the price was Tk. 2800 with 1 year warranty. I decided to post the dealer's address here, it might be helpful for those who are looking for this speaker.

    Clearity is awesome
Highs and lows are very good
    Mids are good
Bass is not very much satisfactory if you are a bass lover
Use it with a extra sub-woofer you will be amazed with its clearity and quality I bet you. Without sub-woofer everyone will not be pleased.

    For secondary use: E2160 OC @2.2Ghz| Gigabyte 945GCMX| 1.5GB DDR2| Thermaltake 400w| Intel GMA 950

Okay Here is the thing. I'm a headphone guy, I rarely use my speaker ( at best once in a month ) . I bought my current speaker when I was in seventh grade :O So you can imagine why I don't need any speaker. But seeing them now at 2800, I really want to buy them. Do you think they are worth buying? I mean they are rather quite old and I've no idea about how the newer models perform. Also they are refurbished. So what do you think ? Should I buy them? Any better alternatives for 5k ? And I've no problem with weak bass actually to be honest I hate most 2.1 speakers for their unbalanced sound.

I hooked up my T20 with my creative labs 2500 and turned speaker volume to very low and bass to full. U can go to opposite of multiplan city and there u can get sub-woofer with faulty speaker at low price. Connect it in to your audio card and boom. It will sound amazing trust me. U can use 3.5mm 1 to 2 output converter for doing this. BTW I am using modded realtek driver. If u have a good soundcard it will enhance the quality a lot

@BEIL.Mantis buy or use a sub-woofer with or without speaker (you can buy that from 2nd hand market at elephant raad) as you wish with Gogaworks T20 by this

and plug it into your sound card. Hope it will help you. I wil get the extra bass that you need from the sub-woofer.

@Shoaib They can be rufurbished but I think the reason behind its very low price is that it is now a discontinued model. Creative are now selling T20 series II which is upgraded version which fixed the annoying blue led issue. So they just cleared their stock by selling at low price. Though one of my speaker broked yesterday but some of friends are using it fine. So I think there will be no problem for you.
