    [works with 570,580,660,670,680 without modding]

It can be modded to work with any types of card

Bought 2 of these to attach to my SLI setup but I have only one card ATM and wont be needing the second backplate

So only one backplate is up for sell....

The backplate's function is acting as a heat spreader?

also, is that a liquid cooling system for GPU? Do you have one of those?

They claim it helps heat flow out but it doesn't make a difference. Not even 1C difference, so it's just aesthetics.

Main function of Back plate is reduce temp from voltage regulating IC. If VR IC in back and need to dispatch heat then manufactures are use back plate (ATI 6950 Reference).
Its not use to reduce heat of graphics chip! So we cant see any temp different of GC.

If ur card have back plate pre-installed and u apart it from card then there have much possibility to damage the card. If your card have not any back plate then u need not any but for only aesthetics!
