There's something from Altec listed on Ryanscomputers' website which costs about 2,100/= which I believe would be a better buy than any Microlab speakers.

    Dude...Get Altec Lansing VS2621 2:1 ...priced around 4K...bt i bought it for 2800 only...ek porichito dokaan thk.
Deep bass but not too bassy, clear mids and highs...the only lag is this one doesnt have a bass volume...just a volume and a tone knob...
And full sound eo sound faate na...unlike more pricey altec models...i generally use it as desktop speakers, music, gaming and play electric guitar though it.
    And it looks cool too.

I've tried both of them...bt the VS2621 was more clear.

Well i tried the xpressionist models...the octane one...and the other center-base boogie one...sound full dile bass fata ase...bt the VS2621 didnt have this problem...it had powerfull bass even at highest volume..u'll not get to hear all the sounds...cuz its a bugdget model so, u cant compare to the best high end speakers...but its worth the buck..
