Question Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 670 or Sapphire ATI HD7950 3GB?

Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 670 or Sapphire ATI HD7950 3GB?I just wanted to know which ones better and for what?they have price difference of 4k and although 670 is better than the latter in most cases, but 7950 has more memory bandwidth being a 3GB monster..so wondering if that changes the fact that 670 is better.Your opinions will be appreciated.THanx

yeah, Gigabyte OC 670 is on par with stock 680. But if you want to buy it now from Bangladesh you will not find any. 2-3 Days ago @rk7 and I bought our new PCs. He wanted Giga 670 but stock nai and it won't be until December this year AFAIK. tagging @Vanguard , he was with us.

By the time you are going to get the card, there will be better options. So better ask for suggestions ~1 week before planned purchase date.

Wait for the 8XXX monsters to hit the market/buy a 7950/7970(Don't buy the 670 PE get 7970 dualx instead) now. Major titles will rain within the coming months. Whatever you buy, buy it now or after the 8xxx series arrives.

They will MAKE the 6xx and 7xxx series to go down to 'reasonable' price. Thats for sure. No escape route open for either one.

Go for amd 7970. Amd is the fan. If you are a fan of physix then forget it. I was also a Nvidia fan. But after researching a lot. I found Amd provides much reliability than nvidia. Also Nvidia's cards are hell costly.

@Robin Totally wrong....AMD one's more costly and gtx 670 pe oc outperforms 7970 in all cases (talking about available cards in BD)....though 670 is 40K and 7970 is 45K...I have used both AMD and Nvidia one's and I am fan of better card

Bhai, from where did you buy the gtx 670 ? how many warranty it has ? if you were told you would get more than a year warranty, they betrayed you. I had terrible experience with Gigabyte GTX 580 . It died within 14 months of use, ( super bad quality PCB , and faulty Vram ) and they refused the warranty saying it had only a year of warranty. Now even though they kept the card but they said i will not get a replacement and i have to pay for the service
