    Default Gaming PC Help

Hey guys. Im going to get a new PC within a week or two. The purpose is solely for gaming. And my budget is about 45k. I've decided on a preliminary spec, but im not completely sure if its the best:

    i5 3450 @16.5k
    Gigabyte B75 motherboard @6.5k
    4GB DDR3-1333Mhz RAM @2k
    Gigabyte 7770OC @11k
Some casing @3.5-4k (Want to get a Thermaltake V3 or a V4, whichever is available)
    CoolerMaster GX-450W @4.7k

So that adds up to around 44k. I wont need an HDD, gonna use an old one. Im gonna game at 1366x768, so please feel free to suggest any mods or changes in prices. Thanks.

Okay, but what about the rest of the rig? I was thinking if i should cheap out on the i5 and get an i3, and replace the 7770 with a 7850. Would that be wise, since a quad-core is more futureproof than a dual-core...but the 7850 is a powerhouse compared to the 7770.

i3 and a HD7850 combination is better in my opinion.

Slightly overkill but that just means it is more future proof

Get the i3 + 7850. At that res a quad core won't make a difference and a 7850 will allow you to max out every setting in your games for a long time.

No at that resolution it should not be a problem. Don't underestimated the i3, it packs a lot of punch. AMD's current and older Intel quad cores have a hard time beating it, so you're good.
