It was always running, just bcz its cached doesnt mean that you have to get crazy speeds. They can just as easily cap that as well. Smile has been having bandwidth problems, so it makes sense to cap speeds even when downloading from cache as it will free up some bandwidth.

I dont know any details about the server. But I do know that it was never off. I always had browsing problems bcz of cache

The cache serer is on but max speed for users r much much more lower then before.. .before the max chace server spd was 4MB/s & now u can download frm cache server with the double of ur raw dl speed (if ur raw dl spd is 32KB/s then u wll be able to dl frm chace server with 64 KB/s dl spd) )......

tai to boli , ken je ato kom speed pai , bhai tumi toh akai shob smile er Bandwidh 90 % taanteso.

ahh well amar obhosta shunba ? i pay 1100 for silver and getting ¤¤¤¤ing connection timed out and a 50 kbps UL and a 80 kbps DL , no wonder y our DL and UL is so less
