  1. #1

Question Which HD 7770 best & why?

Gigabyte HD 7770 (11800 tk) or Sapphire HD 7770 GHZ EDITION (13500 tk) or Sapphire HD 7770 GHZ EDITION OC (14200 tk)... Which one is better? Can anyone plz tell me the basic difference (with benchmarking) among these cards ? I am planning to buy a GPU & HD 7770 looks very lucrative at this price ! PLZ Suggest (This will be my 1st GPU).

Will there be a significant difference in performance between Gigabyte OC and Sapphire Oc...Like how much FPS might differ in BF3 or Sleeping Dogs or Crysis 2 on those two cards? Can u plz provide any benchmark link plz?it'll be an absolute gratitude .

bro...whats FSB? i think you mean FPS!! :S
anyway...sapphire is one of the best if you consider amd cards..gigabyte isnt lagging behind...but i heard gigabyte 7770 OC is around 11K..so thats cheap and a good performer +3 years warranty (i may be wrong here, just ask from guys you are going to buy) VS sapphire which isnt cheap and may be 1% better and 2 year warranty (this i'm sure)...price/performance=gigabyte is a better buy (considering GB 770 OC is 11k)

No there will be no significant difference. The base hardware is exactly the same, only the clock levels and cooling solutions are different. You can just get the GIGABYTE one and manually set the clock level to Sapphire's one using MSI Afterburner.

Sapphire is best brand for ATI GC. But considering price go with Gigabyte and if u need more performance then OC!!

not usually but sometimes hardware enthusiasts prefer water cooling kit for gpu to get the maximum potential of that card. For example: If you overclock a card from 850 to 900 Mhz core clock, you wont be needing any other cooler but if you intend to do 850 to 1.2Ghz you will obviously need a good water cooling block right above the gpu core.
