for the last week i am facing frequent disconnections. contacted EMEM. sent a guy yesterday to check my problem. told me to get a lineman an clear the carbon in the main box & vertical. did that. & yet no result. the guy from EMEM also checked my modem & said there is an issue with it holding on to the power.

let's assume that it's a modem issue and i buy a new one. what's the guarantee that my line problem will be solved?

the EMEM guy also tested with a new modem that he brought with himself. the line was pretty ok back then with not so frequent disconnections as far as i recall. he also told me that after cleaning the carbon my attenuation will decrease which didn't & my SNR's fluctation will be reduced drasticall between 1-2. it still fluctuates the same.
