Personally, I feel that if you are not buying 100k+ refrigerators, you should buy Walton (~30k). Walton ones work fine and said to be durable. If for some reason, it goes down after a few years, buy a new one.

If you are looking for quality, Whirlpool/Hitachi ones are best afaik. Panasonic, Samsung and LG are good too.

I am using LG and quite happy with it.
The abuse of greatness is when it disjoins remorse from power.

thanks to all for your replies.

Walton ones are cheaper than other's. But I heard that the parts are all chinese. Is it true?
Can any one tell about the price of Hitachi / LG / Whirlpool?
The thing I'm looking for is, durability.

For Bangladesh's electricity situation, frost fridge are actually better.

If u r going for foreign brands, look if it has an INVERTER.

For local brands, WALTON is now a dependable name. However, WALTON has no special features going for it - it is just assembled here.

For local brands, WALTON is now a dependable name. However, WALTON has no special features going for it - it is just assembled here.
what is interver? What does it do? Will it cost extra?

INVERTER - essentially, it is that piece of tech that saves energy. Most Panasonic stuff are nowadays coming in with inverter. Their A/C. Microwave, even fridges. I have seen some DAIKIN stuff with inverter. Yes the inverter feature costs more, so I said if u r considering foreign brands. But with energy costs rising dunno if it will save much. Mayb u r better off with a local brand. Like Walton or Transtec.

Ask seller where the fridge has been assembled from.
Ask where is the compressor from.
    Warranty - service or parts?

@Badhon_raj yes no doubt @CvP Walton will be the best choice within your budget. I have personally visited their factory at Gazipur and they really producing good quality refrigerator. Few days back before the Eid Festival I have bought their W2D 3F5 PN (where PN stands for export quality) 20CFT cost me around 42K. I am highly satisfied with size and performance.

If you considering international brand then I think shacklock fridge is the best producer in the world. But the price of their refrigerator is above 80K or 1lackh. I think too much expensive you can buy 2 Walton fridge with the same price.
