    Default Problem with my AcerV3-571G

Guys, need your help. Recently i have brought a Acer laptop with Core i5 2.5GHz (3rd Gen), 6GB DDR3 RAM, 750 GB HDD. The coolest part is(i thought) it has a GT 630M with 2 GB dedicated Graphics memory.

The problem is; a site (notebook checker) says that , the Core speed of GT 630M is 672MHz, but i have found that, it is only 450MHz on my laptop. except that, every thing is perfect (oh the heat problem ..... God ..... how could i play any game with that much heat????).

So, is there any way, to get the full core clock speed (without overclocking) ?????

Waiting for your advice guys .....

    Regards,

try running something gpu intensive and use gpu-z to monitor your gpu clocks

the values you are seeing might just be for idle mode

    Fairly decent deal then.

The chips are not universal, and almost always, regional builds differ from the mainstream ones. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Install a good laptop cooler and go your merry way.
