    Default seagate HD problems...

i bought a seagate barracuda 2TBHD from binary a few days ago... and since then i can hear a mild clicking sound..4-5 times/day...it happens when i start running an application or PC becomes active...my pc hanged a few times.. (but thats most probably due to chrome, after i somehow manage to force shut the application...it runs great)..just a minute ago i ran AIDA64... here's what it showed.

If you hear just a click while at startup or during wake up from an idle state of the hard drive, it's absolutely normal, Seagate hard drives tend to be a bit noisy.

they didnt bring sickleflow (they just call it sickleflow, may be they think it'll sell more with that name)...they brought 90 cfm silent fans...and they are spinning at 1804 RPM right now (i have 1) and max was 1869 RPM which isnt bad and guess what!! they're really silent...one of my friend was really surprised to see it..but its not like they are truly 90 cfm fans...they are more like 70/80 cfm fan...anyway...not a bad deal at 650 Tk as TT thunderblade's market price is 700 Tk and they push almost same amount of air but with disturbing sound...

    Thunderblade price is 625/=

    1. Long sleeved Cables.
    2. Better Light.
    3. 1 year warranty.
    4. 70.4cfm
    5. Runs at 1760-1780 (my sickleflow even drops as ~1750) and i use both Thunderblade and Sickleflow.

My vote goes for Thunderblade as the price is less.

sometimes the motherboard cause the fans to run slow (if connected to motherboard, especially gigabyte)...besides i'm not talking about sickleflow..i'm talking about 90 cfm silent fans which binary brought..and i never used thunderblade..so i really can't compare them..btw at what RPM your thunderblades run?

If reallocated sector count is > 0, change it asap.

    It's about to die, period.
