A Survey: Why BD People are unhappy?

I have seen many survey on the internet, news papers, etc that people of BD are unhappy. On a recent result (I forgot the source :mellow, it says that BD is full of corruption, poor people, crime, etc. People also don't have any mental peace (count me also ), freedoms, job, etc. Although, I want feed back from you guys that what do you think?

I am unhappy, coz I have a nack for finding what's wrong and bad about stuff, and I focus on that. =D. And I always try to help others, but get ¤¤¤¤ed in the ¤¤¤. =D. Not to mention my habit of trusting people and talking too much. xD. Thus leading to my Em0-ness, which is now comparitively amazingly LOW. =D.

The current cause of my unhappiness is that I'm suffering severe packet loss and smile is least bothered >_<

My long term unhappiness is that bigotry is on the increase in the whole world and the lack of unity among Bangladeshis has never been stronger than as it is now.

In my personal life, I'm really happy and the closest I go to unhappiness is irritation I wanted anime, internet and guitar and I got them. So nothing to complain about 8)

Btw, I dunno from which source you got this news. Even though it's true that the Bangladeshis are rarely unhappy, the foreigners think we're always happy. I remember seeing an episode of Ittyadi where Hanif Sonket was talking with a bunch of Europeans. They came to find "happiness" in Bangladesh and they seemed to have found it. Hanif Sonket inquired how coud they have found happiness in the corruption, poverty and other such drawbacks of this country. Their reply, if I remember correctly, was something like- people are truly unhappy when they don't know what to aspire or hope for. In the developed world, people have everything in their doorstep and since they hardly have anything to achieve, they suddenly find their lives meaningless. In Bangladesh, we are always struggling to earn our living. Luxuries and entertainment are like bad jokes to us. Happiness is relative and since we have aspirations(of a comfortable life), we are happy with respect to the people of the first world.

If you're talking about absolute happiness, then you'd be chasing after cars with a broken leg. There's no end to man's demand, so absolute happiness can not be achieved.

You already mentioned the biggest reasons why people are unhappy. Fix those and your internet issues will be fixed as well. BD itself is holding BD back. We have some very skilled people, but they arent given the opportunity.

LOL! How to fix BD? Simple, change the way people think. =].

BD has awesome athletes, but they stop playing coz no future.

BD has awesome computers minds and so on, they leave BD in search of jobs, or quit completely.

BD has everything, but NO OPPORTUNITY! Why? Resources? I doubt it, just people who are high up, don't untilize what they have, and are IGNORANT about stuff.

IF BD had an official gaming tourni, which was like a career, and people got PAID, a decent ammount, just Tk. 10,000 (as a start) a month, as a JOB, and other stuff. MAYBE, BD would be up there with the top nations. =].

But sadly, ki hoi, sponsors like GP would rather go paying for those crap bands, instead of gaming teams.

electricity probs during summer / Unlimited Traffic Jam / Sad Internet connection , even though we pay more / Pollution in Dhaka / No unity Amonst Bangladeshis / Politics / No support for E-sport gamers etc etc. can go on all day but no use complaining we should try to figure out a way to make Bangladesh a gr8 place to live in .
