* clan registration form has been added.
* every gaming clan/team is encouraged to register and get exclusive sub-forum. clan-leaders will be made sub-forum mods.
* other perks for registered clan are also being thought out and will be available in future.

* downloads section has been added.
* currently there are a few fifa files uploaded in the server. other game-related files can also be uploaded.
* section moderators may get ftp accounts for uploading.
* files like patches, drivers and gaming softwares may be uploaded.
* a download request thread may be opened in the request section of the forum.
* i'll also see abt adding extension so that registered users can directly submit links into the site.

* we've planned to back-up data and add joomla-vbulletin integration on thursday, so website and forum may be offline at that time. the exact timing will be confirmed later.
* by integration, members will be able to log on to the forum direcctly from the website and recent posts may be displayed on the website.
* a new custom forum skin is almost done.

* there is a rotating banner on top of the homepage, measuring 754*158 px. interested designers may design and submit banners, good banners will be put on rotation.

* suggestions about other enhancements are appreciated.

finally, every important updates and cool stuffs will regularly be available in the website, so be sure to browse the site everytime you visit the forum.

Well can we get warez games like fifa 08 from here?

I am asking because there was a NFS 2 SE download link and i have downloaded. it was warez i believe.

Plus if you are using the Joomla server for file hosting, will we be able to get download boosts at download accelerators like FlashGet?

well i did have download boost on the NFS 2 SE download, it was directly hosted from the banglagamer.com server.

what i meant by download boost is "capability of using download accelerators"

i think there is nothing as boost.. browser-integrated downloaders and so called accelerators always dl at the same speed. maybe accelerators just manage downloads better and can resume downloads at times.. that's all.

i have no idea what you are talking about....

i directly uploaded the nfs2 file from my pc through ftp server, (not even joomla)
and whatever file we upload to banglagamer.com server, u can download it with resume and accelerating support.

what boost means that the file will have signatures of different parts of it and the server will allow the download accelarators to download different parts at the same time. this kind of partitional acceleration is called download boost, according to the flashget software.

neways i think small game installers uploaded into our server cannot be called warez. it is just for sharing with forum mebers. and i have no intention of uploading large installers of games like fifa08 in this server either.

my pc crawls when scrolling in the main site. only in firefox though (Firefox 3.0).

1. the time stamp is really messed up.. 7:40 PM er post ke 8:40 AM dekhacche.. :s

2. i can see posts that are inaccessible to normal users... like this thread which i cannot enter but it shows up in the recent posts thingy none the less

1. correct your time zone from user cp.
2. it should get updated by a day or two. i can also force a update if you prefer.

well there has been a problem with joomla time zone. even if it is set to dhaka time in cpanel, it differs by an hour. i think it might be some issue with daylight saving factor or something.
