Default Overclocking help on Intel 3930K (with corsair watercooling) with Asus x79 WS motherboard

    Hello,

I have a pc with aforementioned spec, i tried overclock the cpu to 4.5ghz in both from bios and the utility for windows came with the motherboard. I tried manual overclocking, its says its 4.5ghz but when i look at cpuz it still clocked at 3.2 ghz. Can anyone please help with overclocking the cpu? OR any forum link that has the instruction to do so, i would really appreciate it.

    Cheers

Did you disable all power saving features in your MOBO? And change windows power management setting to High Performance.
