Just played this game and scored this. Was laning mid. Some of you might say Yi isn't ranged. While that's true, he's ranged enough for me. Played simply a normal game. Wasn't high or anything but scored this. Is it normal? My summoner level is now 13.

Your summoner level is low, so you will be facing a lot of noobs. Basically people who have no idea how to play, counter, build, juke, etc etc. I see like four enemies running Heal. Heal isn't necessarily a noob spell, but it's unwise to have so many on one team. It gets harder in the higher levels, where people are more familiar with the meta. Start playing normal drafts as soon as you can (you need 16 champions first). Less idiots there.

Oh, and their CS is terrible.

Wait till u hit 25.. only after that games will start to get interesting.. and ofc start playing Draft.

Its just [EB]. Not Elite B[a]stard or anything like that.

For your level it is very normal.
I used to get scores like this every other game when I was leveling. Wait till you play ranked, you'd be glad to have 6-3-12

Funny how they blind pick summoners into your team. Last time I played, I had 3 annoying noobs in my team. That match was a debacle.

Nicely farmed and this build should be balanced. Alpha Strike is AP based, so you're supposed to rape. Good job.

but doesn't yi get benefit more from AD instead of AP due to his insane movement & attack speed?

Your itemisation is not cost effective. With Yi you either go full AP or AD. There is no hyrbid.

Nope, alpha strike and mediation are AP-based whereas his ulti and e make use of AD. It's entirely up to you as to how you want to build him. You can either go full AP or AD. It can even be an AP-AD combination like mine.

You can go full AP, but your build is interesting nonetheless.

Btw none of Yi's abilities scale of AD, the E only gets a passive bonus/doubled flat when activated afaik. Attack speed is what makes Yi a beast. Besides as an AD champ, you most likely be looking to land criticals, which is why Phantom Dancers would have been ideal instead of the Trinity. The Sheen/Phage slow is nice but with that money you can get a PD and a B.F and start working on a Bloodthirster and stacking it up for sustain dealing tons of damage and getting away safely with the added movement speed. Problem with Yi is, he's just too squishy... You get burst down in 2hits late game.

This. Also, you're at 150 wins. When you get to atleast 350 wins you'll understand why Yi isn't a good pick overall. AP Yi is good but you need to build a team around him which is sub optimal and you need M5-like teamplay not to mention tough lane opponents like Ryze, Orianna will chew you apart. The only thing Yi is good for is backdooring in late game. But even then someone with hard CC will hold you in place long enough with stuns and snares for the AP mage to burst you down in 2 seconds. This is why you don't see melee carries being played more.

Also, with the introduction for Sightstone, it is impossible for you to run through the jungles now as it will be warded left, right and center. Also, in higher levels of play there will always be a jungler, who will gank you hard if you are laning and counterjungle you to death if you go to jungle. So it's a loss loss situation.

Right now I'm with 216 wins. I've played 1 ranked game with Yi laning mid and my opponent was Orianna. She was having a tough time against me. Every time I alpha stroke, it used to slice a significant portion of her health off. With that said, I wouldn't say Yi is a bad pick. He isn't that good in teamfight which is true but backdooring is one of Yi's upsides. Of course, you wouldn't pick Yi when your up against someone like Lux having good cc. Stun > Burst of flash > Her ulti > Death.

On the other hand, if you know juking, you can sustain longer with him.

P.S the only time I play with Yi is when I get to lane mid. Other than that, I don't pick him. BTW, his alpha strike deals damage to at least 4 champs/minions.

What Eagle said is right, I learnt stuff as I leveled up...it's just not about the wins. I've queued against many 400-500+ win players who were worse than me, and then <100 level players who butt raped me. AP Yi is good, but after that 1 Alpha Strike, you are basically a sitting duck. AD Yi is more consistent in a sense that, you'll be dealing damage no matter who's the target and landing criticals on a carry really hurts when 600-700+ chunks of life drains away with consecutive hits.

As you level up further you'll notice that Yi just too squishy against those 3-4bruisers insta-locking in solo que's that is. I lost games where I was 11-5-17 playing as Yi as I'd just die in mere seconds in a team fight. Having I.E, 2 PDs, and a B.T didn't help. Yi is fun though, I really love playing him...but the current Rengar/Kha' Zix kinda champs just face stomps you.

Oh, I play on the NA servers btw.

It's only a month I've started, so I shouldn't be giving you advice technically...but this is just my 2c.
