প্রিয় মুখেরা কষ্ট বাড়িয়ে দ্রুত হারিয়ে যায়। অপ্রিয় মুখেরা বহুদিন বেঁচে থাকে, বেঁচে থেকে কষ্ট বাড়ায়। দুনিয়ায় শুধুই কষ্টের রাজত্ব। এত কষ্টের ভিড়েও তবু কিছু মানুষ হিমু হয়ে বাঁচতে চায় । বেঁচে থাক হিমুরা, মিসির আলীদের মনের গভীরে !! ছোঁয়া দিক হিমুরা, ইটপাথরের নষ্ট অন্তরে !! চোখ ভিজে যাক বারবার, হিমুদের এই চিরদিন বেঁচে থাকায় !!

ছোটবেলায় রোজার সময় অথবা স্কুল বন্ধের দিন গুলো কাটিয়েছি হুমায়ুন আহমেদ এর বই পড়ে। সময়গুলো কিভাবে যে পার হয়ে যেত টের পেতাম না। ভাবতেই কেমন লাগে এই আমাকে এত আনন্দ দেওয়া মানুষটি আর নেই।

হিমু আবেগের ধার ধারবে না, সে মহাপুরুষ টাইপের মানুষ। মিসির আলি যুক্তি খুঁজে নেবে। রুপা, তুমি নিজের মতোকরে ভালো থেকো। অনেক ভালো..
