    Lightbulb Developer PC config within 50k

    This PC will be solely used as a development machine. So no gaming at all. Main jobs will be like coding and running ide, emulators or VMs. My current estimates are as follows:
    • core i5 {15k}
    • mobo {7k}
    • ssd 250GB {9k}
    • ram 8GB 2400 {6k}
    • casing + others {5k}
    • monitor 1080p {10k}

    Please suggest me the best suited product models that meet these config. TIA

    Why I'll need a 16k motherboard for a 50k budget pc ?
    What about 15k i5 + 10k mobo ?

    I would suggest getting the 10K Samsung Curved Monitor, which is 1080p. Also maybe switch it up to Ryzen build like 1500X with a B350 board or 1600 with A320 instead, get an ASUS GT 710 for like 3.5K for display?

    1. Well, I just suggest you an upgrade path.....Later you can get the i7 8700K/8700, replacing that i3 (6 Core with 12 threads)
    2. Currently no budget motherboards are available yet for this 8th Gen CPU & that 15K mobo is the cheapest one.
    3. Wait for others opinion

    You mean UPS right?
    Yes, it will be UPS, my mistake.
    If I am correct, VMs are mostly single core bounded. Plus VM works effeciently on Intel platforms, though not sure about Ryzen yet. FX cpus were horrible in that term.

    what is the main ide u gonna use? ryzen 1600 or 1700 can compile linux kernel/ue4 source faster than intel competition because of greater number of threads
    but some ide might have some problem with ryzen i am not expert at this but i heard the android emulator in android studio doesnt run good with ryzen because it uses some intel proprietary thingy.
