    Default UPS Battery buying help

    Salam all.

I have an Apollo 800VA UPS. the battery is down and I'm getting zero second back up out of it. I dont think its good for my PC as the electricity is not playing well with our area.

So I am going to buy a battery(obviously a dry-cell one). I Went to a local shop the shopkeeper said me that market is full of locally made batteries and these things are going down after 2/3months. He was almost beaten by a customer for that reason. He also suggested me buying battery from RA or buying a new UPS instead of a battery as its cheaper than RA battery. I'm too much confused now. But I wont go for a new UPS.

Pricey RA will be the last choice. I am interested in long lasting and comparatively cheap battery. My main concern is the longevity rather than huge back-up time.

Which thing should I buy? Would you please suggest me any good option? I meant brand-name, price, longevity, shop location etc for this piece of pain. Plz also let me know your experience if you had ever used RA UPS/btry.

Thanks for keeping interest in this post.
