    Default image merging/blending

    so i want to merge/blend these 8 images together for a single pic & i want to use it as fb cover. how to do it?
    i tried using paint & could create one but not all the images were there for my cover.

    use photoshop. stack up all photos as different layers and change opacity and blending modes to suit your need.

    For your needs, Gimp will be more than enough. Its true that Photoshop has more features, but that's a paid software. Gimp is a free and open source software, about 22 MB in size but packs quite a punch.
