    Unhappy Corsair H80 Noise.

So , I bought a water cooler. Corsair H80. As my casing is quite old, it doesn't support 120 mm fan so I have hanged it with my casing. For a day or two, I am getting this pump noise from it. The casing is right beside me. Do you think it is the infamous air bubble problem ?? or just normal sound a water cooler makes. I have recorded this at point blank range with the fans turned off. Please give me some advice. Is it normal ???

Yes completely normal, these CLCs have pump noise. It's evident that some batches are more prone to this while others are dead silent. Though the hanging position of the rad might make the problem more prominent. Can you change the orientation of the cooler, try a vertical/horizontal position to see if it helps, and don't forget to change TIM.

Lastly try to buy a good case with 120mm mounts at the back/top, so that you can actually install it in your case rather hanging it.
