COD 4 MW in 3d

i have got a 3d vision glass (red cyan) and now playing COD4 mw in 3d. i have got an old nvidia card which has some options to turn it to 3d. fps comes down a lot, so have to play it in low graphics. but you get the feel of depth.

problem is the colors are so minimized that it's almost black and white. anybody has any idea about how to solve this?

NVIDIA graphics cards have an option to turn the supported games to 3d. i don't know the exact model number of my GPU and all. it has 1 gb agp, and does not require a PSU. i bought it in 2009 with BDT. 5000/-. you can guess the standard(!).

you can see the list of supported games for yourself>> google "nvidia 3d vision". when i dled the latest driver an application came with it. it has options to change the view to 3D. you have to have 3D ready glasses - red-cyan, red-green, polarized etc. the application will test which glasses you have through a tutorial. after that it will turn all the supported games into 3d ready supported by your glass. i will try to give some screenshots. to watch movies, you can download 3D movies and play them with Power DVD 11 or VLC player. Power DVD 11 also has an option on the playback tray to turn any video into perceptual 3d. you can control the depth as well.

i bought 3 pairs of red-cyan glasses from clickbd. and then enabled it. the glasses have nVidia 3d vision engraved on its side, but there is no reason to trust it. it can easily be cheap local sunglasses. i just wanted too try it, and did. the glasses are just like normal sunglasses, u don't have to connect it to your pc.

btw, what i am talking about is not ACTUAL 3D. it just gives you a perception of depth. for example you will feel that the texts coming on screen are floating on the pictures, and the cross-hair is situated in a deeper position. but i have got headache (which was foretold in various 3D forums) after playing for half an hour. it's very harmful for your eyes if you play for a long time. they say to take a break of 1/2 minutes after every 15 minutes or so.

now the major problem is the colors are so reduced that it's almost black and white (and light and dark reddish green only). i am color blind on the green side, so it's actually troublesome for me to play the games. now, i don't know how to solve this.

the games i played so far are:

1. COD 4 MW - not good
2. FIFA 11 - good
3. NFS ProStreet - better

COD 4 loses almost all the colors, while others are not that bad.

i get to know from a friend of mine that you can watch the movies with raedon or any other GPU but cannot play the games. it's an special feature of nVIDIA. for other gpus you need 3d output monitors.

last night i tried Assassins Creed Revealations on 3d. the game gets very slow even with everything in lowest graphics.

i would recommend you to go to the sellers of those fake 3d glasses and see the demonstration.

still looking for the solution of loss of colors...
