All that matter for gaming are gpu and cpu. RAM won't matter anything.

RAM is a vital thing but this RAM is actually good enough. I'm using two of them. 4GB 1333MHz each on my Z68 board(my processor is i7 2600). dual channel activated. Windows experience index gave a 7.6 score for this. pretty good. These RAMs are good but if u use the same RAM on a P55 board windows experience index gave 5.7 score only(connected 1 4GB for testing)!

    so my suggestion use a good mainboard & higher rpm(7200) & speed(sata 2/sata3) HDD.
& most importantly a good graphics card. if u have a very good card u wont feel a difference using this RAM/ higher MHz RAMs!
