power guard 1200va from global. cost me about 5k. my configuration is similar to yours (gtx970).
it does not beep just a humming sound like ips when power goes out. using it for close to six months probably. never checked full backup time-the most probably 5-8 minutes while in game to get to save point that is all.
I am using PowerTree 1250VA. Bought from superior Electronics. Changed the batter few months back. Rig Description in my profile gadget. Can go 15+ minutes before frequent beeping. Never tasted full backup time. Cost was around 4.5k.

I'm looking for a UPS as well. My powertree died just over a year after buying. :/ Any recommendations?
Get the batteries replaced from Startech or any other shop. Think it's like 900/= per battery, can't remember exact. It'll be way cheaper than buying new. And whatever new UPS you buy, it's only gonna run for just over a year before the batteries die again- so its no use
What are the chances? I am also looking for a UPS. Loadingshedding on the rise. Don't want my system fried.
Mine had its circuit killed by a "violent" brownout-surge combo created by our beloved PDB. Superior sold the whole circuit board to me for 1.3k, I replaced it myself, then the battery lasted another year. Replaced batteries recently, and the UPS is as good as new again.
But if you want to buy new, buy the power guard one, only because it doesn't beep (had to wake up today because of a beeping UPS).
