7970 dead.

As the title states my 7970 died yesterday mid-night, before its death I just saw a 'garbage screen' or whatever the hell you call it, sadly this kind of reminds me of a past 4870 experience which died the same way. Sigh.

Hope ucc doesnt 'anal'yze me tho. This along with the bulldozer fiasco probably made me lose all faith in AMD, I might be unlucky but then again this sort of sucks. :/

My luck has been serious ¤¤¤ poor lately so please guys pray for me that I can get my card rma'd :/ despite having a good relationship with UCC Im having second thoughts thanks to my splendid luck.

Ill probably sell this ¤¤¤¤ and settle with something more subtle as I hardly play anything besides UT ;e

These things happen, it's all about luck, but just in case, have your PSU fully tested, I suspect it could be the culprit. And UCC is very kind to it's top tier customers, recently had RMA'd a 6950 2GB because of noise coming from it's coils and they offered a 7850 as replacement, though some adjustment money was required but it was a fair trade, see if you can ask them to give you the GTX 680, and go green for a change.

ahhh the 7970 is one of the things they got right and hence the 500usd price tag Don't lose faith in their GPUs, if you buy their CPUs then you are a dummy but their GPUs are still cool
