    Default Psu problem

Recently I acquired a Psu from a friend with some faults. He is a bit hasty character so he went ahead and got himself another psu already.

Now seeing this a 800w some thing tt psu,I was wondering can it be fixed?then I will have a better psu for zero money (he already gave it to me for testing)

He said the main problem was it lost connection to motherboard a lot or often if you prefer that.Being a modular psu he said once doing-who-knows-what he pulled one of the cords very hard and that loosened up the connection.

Before testing it on my main board I was wondering do you guys have any solutions or ideas to speak up?So that I don't fry my mainboard.Any shops I can take it to be doctored or any specialists among you or something?

    It has no warranty.

You could take it to Elephant rd, I guess there are specialists there.
Though just asking, if its a 800W Unit does it have Modular PCI-E Cables? If it does would you sell them to me?
