    Talking ASUS GeForce GTX690

At the NVIDIA Gaming Festival 2012 in Shanghai, China, NVIDIA’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang introduced to the world the dage (meaning “big brother” in Chinese) of the latest GeForce 600 family—the GTX 690.

The GTX 690 has two GK104 Kepler GPUs arranged in an internal SLI configuration. Each GK104 chip has all its components enabled, including 1,536 CUDA cores, 128 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and four independent geometry processing units. Each GPU further has a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, with which it talks to 2 GB of memory. The total memory on the card, hence is 4 GB.

Compared to the GTX 680 this is 91% of the base clock, 96% of the boost clock, and the same memory bandwidth; this is the closest a dual-GPU NVIDIA card has ever been to its single-GPU counterpart, particularly when it comes to memory bandwidth. Furthermore GTX 690 uses fully enabled GPUs – every last CUDA core and every last ROP is active – so the difference between GTX 690 and GTX 680 is outright the clockspeed differences.

No point in getting this really, you can get 2x670 for 200usd cheaper and get the same performance.
