    It next cannot do highly compressed archives. They only use freearc to compress. I am suggesting u some softwares by which u can compress like Bbox.

    1.For preprocessing files use Precomp(But u won't need to use it much).
    2.For more preprocessing use Srep. The latest one is 3.0
    3.For compression use Freearc or Nanozip. Freearc is a lot faster than Nanozip but Nanozip can compress files better (I use freearc)

    And if you need help P.M me

    @Vanguard agree with u...
    i compressed one file with kgb archiver, 7zip, free arc, uharc...kgb archiver compresses it higher than any other compressor...
    kgb archiver has higher compression rate and its easy to use...it can compress highly than any other compression tools if u maximize the compression level...
    here is the download link...just download and give it a try

    Precomps preprocessing is it tries to decompress streams in files so you can compress those streams using a good compression method.And Srep is a LZ77 preprocessor that processes files to increase compression ratio.

    KGB is good it uses PAQ 6 and 7 method. But if you are only eager to see how much compression u can get use PAQ 8 or WinRK these are the highest compressors available. And if you are trying to learn to make full rips freearc has no alternative as it has a good balance between speed and compression ratio.

    KGB can do this, the downside is that the 9MB takes almost a day to decompress.

    A day+, a few megabytes, a few days to decompress.

    Your call.

    time and size depends on the file type u r compressing, compression level u r using and ur system...if u r comressing a file or a game which has high textures it won't compress at high ratio...on the other hand when u r compressing a game which has lower textures it will compress a lot...also note that file has more texts/words can be compressed a lot...use kgb archiver...u will lov it
