PC hangs, Game crash, No Monitor Output

Hey guyz, I am facing some issues till yesterday. Today it was a bit too much. It seems to occur when I play Dirt Showdown MP online. What happens is out of nowhere the PC hangs, giving no output to the monitor.

After I disconnect the power and restart my PC, there is no output in monitor even though the system is running. Now I somehow managed to get the display output back on, but I think same thing will happen when I play the game online again.

I posted this thread to make sure if the game itself is responsible or not. I have been gaming for over a month without any problem, after my last upgrade(cpu+mobo). I went through the event log and found some info that I have no clue about whatsoever! Here is the report under critical tab :

PS : Another thing is I use Microsoft Security Essential and its been acting a little weird lately. Such as it shows this msg ' You haven't run a scan for a while. It may put your computer at risk ' even though I ran a quick scan an hour back. I scanned my windows drive and the whole games folder where I keep my game dvds, cracks and installed games and MSE found nothing.

Directly going into answer: it is possible even you have good pc but game having problem, example: PC game "Oni" run's well on XP but not on win7 only because some fill missing from windows.

I Guess: after you upgrade your pc you are also missing some important files who helps your pc not to crush and run smoothly with that game, Try to find-out.

Things to Do: Find-out what was your last upgrade, Indeed Install/Uninstall upgrades and unusual software.

Umm... I have been running the game fine for 3/4 weeks in Win7, so that is not the case I guess. For the other part, it may sound weird but I didn't install any new softs/update windows over at least a week before facing the issues, nor did I found any unusual soft installed. So thats about it, and btw, by 'Upgrade' you meant updating windows right?? Correct me if I'm wrong............

any changes can cause problem else hardware failure can be another reason!
how do you fix your monitor ?
