    Get the ryzen : pogchamp: avoid the asrock trash motherboard (gigabyte , asus good even msi ) (asrock has the worst after sells service in bd ), gskill is the best way to go and avoid bitgaynish casing (thermaltak is meh but doable but search for the cheapest phantake or cooler master ) , monitor is all up to you but get the cheapest one with average quality

    I myself haven't bought ASRock but his opinion has value. Just buy Gigabyte then. ASUS is pricy as hell. And MSI uses cheap VRMs and still pricy as hell.
    I recommended that Thermaltake cooler cause it has cable-hiding/routing feature and PSU cover to hide the cables better. Looks better that way.
    And I recommend LG MP68VQ-P cause it's a 75hz monitor in FreeSync mode (regardless of AMD/Nvidia GPU).

    You only need extra cooler with "x" series and your 5450 will run just fine with your setup and if you don't play much games then you really don't need to buy any gpu

    There are some good advice and then there are some terrible advice in this thread.

    First off, the AMD RyZEN CPUs doesn't have an integrated GPU, something the intel counterparts offer. If you can't afford to invest in a GPU right away, then it's best that you lean towards an intel CPU instead of AMD. That aging HD 5450 is only good for video playback right now, throw anything graphically intensive at it and you'll be getting slideshow like performance. The intel integrated GPU that comes with the Core i5 7500 is more than two times faster than the HD 5450 if not more.

    For Photoshop and Illustrator, the Core i5 is fine. It's also fine if you're going to render videos occasionally. But if the video rendering is a primary focus, than you may lean towards the extra cores AMD RyZen has to offer. In gaming, at stock, the Core i5 7500 and AMD R5 RyZEN 1600 are neck and neck, with some games favoring the i5 7500. So regardless of the CPU choice, casual gaming isn't going to be an issue.

    If you do settle on an AMD RyZEN 1600, there's no need for you to buy any aftermarket CPU Cooler right now, as the stock cooler that comes with it is plenty at stock and is good up to a 3.8 GHz OC on all 6 Physical Cores. But then you'll have to invest in a GPU, at least a used GTX 750 Ti 2GB or a HD 7850 2GB would be my recommendation. Since you have chosen a FreeSync supported monitor, your future upgrade path for the GPU is an obvious choice. The Adobe Software suites doesn't necessarily benefit from having a stronger GPU, but benefits from having GPU acceleration available. Whether you've a GTX 660 or a GTX 1080 Ti, will not matter regarding that aspect, however if you're gonna get into gaming, your purchase of the GPU (in the future) will vastly influence your gaming experience.

    Buy the best ASRock Motherboard that your budget allows you if you're sticking with the AMD platform. ASRock's intel motherboards are imported by Computer City who provide terrible after sales service, however, the ASRock AMD motherboards are imported by StarTech Computers and the after sales service should without a doubt be better.

    With AMD, it's necessary to invest in memory modules that are known to be compatible with RyZEN and for best performance, 3200 MHz frequency is advised. However, with intel this isn't necessary, which can help you save some cost. 2400 MHz is fine for intel CPUs.

    Another common mistake I see people make is that they tend to buy a single 8GB memory module to save some cost. Don't do that. If your motherboard has 4 slots, 4X4=16GB memory modules are going to be enough. Software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere doesn't scale past 16GB of total memory, and if you have 8 GB of memory, that's fine. Buy 2x4GB memory modules instead of a single stick for now, which will give you Dual Channel memory and leaves you two slots to play with for upgrade in the future. Games have just started to use past 8GB memory in extreme cases, and it'll be awhile before games start recommending more memory than 16GB unless you're in a terribly video memory bound scenario.

    Please tell us the current PSU you have, as your PSU can be the decisive factor in stability and longevity of your system. Don't neglect this. It's important.

    A UPS is also necessary due to the strange behavior of electricity in our country, and the frequent power outs can kill systems, or in the least cause loss of data which may cost you money and time.

    To tag someone in the forum, simply put an @ in front of their username. Example:
    Code:
    @M.Bison
    In the end, it all comes down to you. You've to make the decision. All we can do is help you explore your options.
