    Default cheap headphone discussion

seems like all xiaomi earphones have a common issue of wire tearing under the right ear my mi in ear pro is defected.

Now which headphone is best for 3k-4k max budget, if its available in BD please mention shopname.

semi open/closed headphone doesnt matter. only over ear or on ear, no inear earphones for this thread. no usb or bluetooth.

i am looking at superlux 668b and 669.

not particularly interested in monoprice cheap ones or Koss UR-20

Philips SHP9500S is awesome but too expensive 50$ at newegg, it's worth it i guess but i dont have that budget.

somic v1 or v2 is out of market, so no somic for me. only somic mm185 avail, but i dont know its quality. lets not talk about non brand headphone for the beginning of this thread.

are these headphones available in BD? or do i have to buy those through shopr or backpack?

tagging @Sybaris Caesar you said you gonna purchase superlux, did you buy it yet?

If you have already chosen something then its a completely different story but if you prefer earbuds you should definitely consider kz zs5 or one more tripple or single driver at least

@minitt i know i wasnt supposed to revive old posts but u said
bought hk 808 for 500 taka p&p from Bashundhara city 6th floor,
covers my 10' x 12' room without any stutter. I loose signal when i go to my next room but thats not a biggy.
For 500 taka worth of adapter, the range is reasonable i think. but I get much better range when my headset is paired with my phone.

now i can use my jabra move wireless headset with pc and my phone simultaneously and the headset automatically switches to phone when there is any incoming call and falls back to PC sound when im done talking.

windows 7 seems to automatically switches to my headset when its powered on and then falls back to default sound source when my headset is turned off.

quite happy with the overall setup.

the whole thing is so mysterious to me. jebra move automatically moves to phone when phone call incoming then moves back to pc when call ends. how is this possible. magic?

If you are 80 years old then yes its a magic for you.

sarcasm aside. I think most of the bluetooth headset will do the same as long as you have a decent 4.0 bluetooth adapter.

it actually does something else too. When I get a call while watching a movie it pauses the movie as well and resume when i hang up. works with media player classic. not sure about other player.

Why not buy from aliexpress, I bought a lot of stuff recently and the shipping was super fast considering I live in Canada, their customer service is not like amazon.ca or ncix but still it is pretty decent. Shipping to bangladesh should take a lot less if you use aliexpress standard shipping or epacket, all my aliexpress standard shipping and epacket came within 10 days of ordering.

Lowest I experience is 14 days. And so many item never arrived.
Aliexpress should be the last choice.

Can someone tell me how good of a headset that is above? I am looking for an entry level gaming headset within $30, and I think the above one will serve my purpose just fine. I have no experience in using a gaming headset since I have never used one before. Hence the low budget.

@shafi , epacket is not available as a shipping option when it comes to Bangladesh. Only tier 1 and some tier 2 countries have it. With that said, @tth I have ordered tons of items from Aliexpress. Starting from watch to headset to glass to caps, and many other items. Never had to wait for more than 18 days. Before you purchase, make sure you check the sellers feedback. Do not purchase from sellers who are new/have less than 4.0 stars.

Don't buy these. Either save up a bit more for a hyperx cloud stinger or if you have to stay below thirty maybe look at superlux hd681/668b/ presonus hd7/ samson sr850. They have quite positive reviews all over the place and I saw a few people here also recommend them. I'm getting a presonus hd7 pretty soon too.
