Krillbite Studio is developing a first-person horror game called Among the Sleep, set to release for PC and Mac next year.
With its upcoming title, the Hamar, Norway-based indie company puts players in the role of a two-year-old child vulnerable to terrifying nightmares. After a dramatic night, players enter a surreal world and must search for a way home, with only their Teddy for a companion.
The game has already won two awards. According to the official website(http://www.krillbite.com/), its "surreal creatures and diverse environments will present you with both physical and mental obstacles that challenge your creativity."
In Among the Sleep you take on the role of a young child. You have yet to develop a full sense of reality, making you weak and susceptible to the horrifying creatures inhabiting your nightmares.
One particular night a dramatic event occurs, forcing you to flee from your home and enter a surreal world. Only accompanied by Teddy, you must overcome many hardships to stay alive and find a way home.
