Thread: First impressions on laptopfront.com

    Default First impressions on laptopfront.com

I plan to open a site similar to gsmarena for laptop. It would be of great help if you gave your first impressions on the domain laptopfront.com and please rate the domain name on a scale of 0 to 10 individually for
    1) Sounding professional
    2) Being catchy/ easy to remember
    3) The deja vu feeling that a big site named laptopfront already exists

Any impression, good or bad is greatly appreciated.

there is already a site like gsmarena for laptops known as notebookcheck , this would be better if you update the laptop details which are available in bangladesh like there is plenty of them for phones with price . i think that would be much better deal than copy-pasta gsmarena just giving a suggestion though

It is easy to open a site.
The real challenge is to keep it updated with correct information.

Their interface is terrible. They have great content but it is a pain to sort through. So hopefully there might still be a market out there.

I couldn't find a single forum software that does what I want which is single level threaded reply (like youtube/ facebook comment where you can reply to replies but from then onwards it simply tags the user). I was targeting general non techy user who have never used a forum before and would find this system incredibly familiar since they already use fb/yt. I personally find the 'reply with quote' option to be incredibly messy when the thread has a large number of replies.
Had high hopes about xenforo but doesn't really get my job done.

it feels like you are not asking for a suggestions or opinion but you are just saying and gonna do what you want to do anyway , so just do it first and then let us check what you got there

I think you misunderstood the original post. I was asking your opinion and impressions on the domain name.
