To be honest the price is a bit on the high side, unless you take clickBD into account, the HD4850 512MB should go for no more than 3,000/= and that TT LP shouldn't be more than 2,000/= but then again it's just my opinion.

a 4850 is like VERY close to a 5770 minus the extra memory or have I got it wrong?

No, an HD4870 is pretty close to HD5770 minus the DX11, the HD4850 is just a notch above HD5750, again no DX11, and @stock the HD4830 is equivalent to or a bit faster than a 9800GT, which is slightly ahead of HD5670/6670, however this HD4830 can OC like crazy and you can outpace the HD4850 by simply raising the clocks.

In DX11 titles the HD5770 will surpass the HD4870, in DX10 titles the HD4870 outpaces HD5770, in that sense this HD4830 is a pretty good buy for those who're currently using integrated graphics solutions, this HD4830 with a little help from overclocking (which is absolutely safe) can easily outpace HD4850 at stock and can be suitable for gamers using 1336X768 Resolution.

So the buyer gets a decent card along with a psu that will further future-danger proof his PC. Not that bad an offer if you look at it that way.
