New to the world of LoL

I downloaded LoL a couple of days ago and started playing it and must say I am rather enjoying it. But, I signed up in the EU Nordic and East servers and am currently playing there. But unfortunately, when I visited the threads here in BG (LoL section) i found that most of the players play in NA servers and have pings above 250+. I am a link3 user and my average ping is about 180. I am actually confused about the whole region thing. There are 3 different regions to choose from NA, EU West and EU Nordic and East. The question I want to ask is that do I have to make different accounts to play in different regions or can I play with one single account? And are there any players playing in the EU Nordic region? Need Aid please.

EUNE has almost no BD players at all, and is a relatively small server. EUNE players can transfer their account to EUW (via the Shop), which has more BD players.

However, NA has the most BD players, but in order to play there you have to start from scratch. You can still use the same account (just set Region to NA) but your Summoner Level will be 1.

I have no problem starting from scratch as I am only just level 6, but which server will be better to play on, the EUW or the NA in terms of ping? Will I get the same pings on both servers or will there be ping issues? Are there any Link3 users who play in any of these servers, and if so, how much ping do u guys get? Would be gald to get some feedback.

NA has more BD players than EUW. But EUW you will get better ping.

Ping on NA will be ~250-300 while on EUW it will be ~180-280.

i play in both EUW and NA. all the servers are good enough and Ping is not an issue. it makes almost no difference if u have 280 or 300 ping in LoL.

and the thing is, i know only one team from BD, they play in EUNE.. they use TeamSpeak and stuff. Although we got many BD players in NA, i dont know any team yet that plays serious Ranked games with skype/teamspeak stuff.
