Default Hard Disk Problem - Help Needed

So recently i got a big problem with my hard disk.I got 2 HDD,one 250gb in which my OS is installed and the other 500gb secondary HDD,so yesterday suddenly all the drives of my 500gb HDD vanished. At first i thought my HDD crashed as i saw the error disk boot failure when i restarted my pc but then i reattached the sata cables of the HDD and when i turned on my pc again,it detected the HDD and all the drives were back. All the drives were accessible except one drive which got corrupted but the problem is after a couple of minutes all the drives of tht HDD again vanished.I even tried changing the sata cable but the same thing happens. If i completely turn of my pc and turn it on again i find those drives again but for a couple of minutes, after that it again dissappears.Guys help me out here plz..

check ur bios if it detect any hdd, if it does, probably ur problem is virus. Give a scan by nod32 or kasper.

Do these drives disappear just when you try to access them? Then its a virus. I had the same problem with a secondary HDD

@OP, Did you try a fresh installation of OS > A complete scan with an updated AV n safe mode ?? If not, do it. One other thing, did you ever defrag your HDDs???... I am a lil curious you know!
