Thread: Shared 8MB or Dedicated 4MB Connection

Default Shared 8MB or Dedicated 4MB Connection

I was thinking about getting a new package from Link3 for both High Speed, gaming and other online works and activities. Shall I go for their 8MB shared bandwidth or dedicated 4MB bandwidth? Does Dedicated Bandwidth helps online gaming from any aspect? I don't really have much idea about the dedicated internet service except its basic needs.

In theory, you shouldn't see that much of a difference between shared and dedicated connection. Ping might or might not improve a little, download/upload speed should be more stable.

But since this is Bangladesh and I myself never have really used a dedicated connection, take this with a grain of salt.

Shared one until you face any problems, then switch if you really need dedicated line.
