I am planning to buy the Asus Strix 2.0 Gaming Headphone soon. Is this a good headphone? Are there any issues about it I should know about?

As a general rule of thumb, never buy gaming headphone. They are waste of money. If inwere u i would spend money on getting an audiophile headphone. As soon as u hear something coming out of audiophile headpjone u will never revert back to gaming crapset.
Nope. Asus is good brand for other things but not for peripherals. That means Keyboard, mouse and most definitely audio. Same goes for other up and coming all-in-one brands like Gigabyte, MSI.
At that budget try to bring the HyperX Cloud Stinger. I hear it's quite good.
Or Superlux HD 681/668 + separate mic combo is still viable.
I would vote for superlux hd 681/668 or samson sr 850 and use a zalman mic or sony mic

I would suggest to get the sony mic but if your budget is really stretching, get the zalman mic.
It looks like backpack has them in bd
