Hello I'm in trouble. I'm 512 BTCL ADSL User. Using HUAWEI SmartAX MT882a modem. Now I purchased Linksys WRT400N wireless router but can't routing net on it! But I able to route net via QUBEE Gigaset. Both time I using Linksys Automatic Configuration- DHCP mode. I want to know the right configure for HUAWEI SmartAX MT882a modem with Linksys router?

I think, you should make PPPoE connection to HUAWEI SmartAX MT882a modem and connect(LAN Cable) it to Linksys router, so the router will get WAN connection from modem. Don't make any Dial up(PPPoE) connection from your PC.

    Or

    Make bridge mode to
HUAWEI SmartAX MT882a modem and make PPPoE connection from Linksys router.

I am not sure about this methods but give it a try.

I would prefer the second option because for game consoles like ps3, I did the first option with huawei modem and belkin router. Modem on routing and router on Dynamic. PS3 says Type 3. Communication may not be good. But putting modem on bridge and router on pppoe ps3 says type 2. Bingo! No connection errors!
