Default help with buying ECS 550ti

my old GPU is out for good....so i was planning for an upgrade..but thats going to take some time (may be 2-3 months)..so i'm in need of a good GPU and i think i can make good use of ECS 550ti (good price/performance ratio)..but the problem is my PSU...i have a thermaltake 430W lightpower...so..my question is...IS IT ANY GOOD? i mean do i have to change my PSU?? i saw 550ti's TDP is 116W..so can my PSU take good care of the GPU? will i have any problems eg. PSU/GPU will be damaged kind of stuff?? i dont know if it'll help...but i use C2D processor...which has a TDP of 65W...
    thanks in advance

oh i also wanted to ask another question...my mobo is GA-965GM-S2..is it compatible with 550ti? my old GPU used to get very (i mean VERY) hot while playing games...and one day...my desktop turned off..and it wont turn on even when everything cools down..but after i took out the GPU...it was functioning normally...there's no visible damage to the GPU/Mobo...

You are planning to buy a new desktop. Wise decision Sir. But there are few things always to know!

Dont take the risk to to couple up a 550ti with Litepower 430W. 550ti's true TDP is 140W AFAIK!

Your old mobo is not a problem to cope with the 550ti. But the C2D might bottleneck GPU if the CPU is from the earlier model.

Whats your previous GPU? Let me know the Brand and model plz. I guess its an XFX.
