i almost took smile last week, but couldn't. but now i'm scared to call them again to give me connection. the way smile users are increasing, eventually every1 might get less browsing speed no matter how much total bandwidth they buy.

yeah bro, same as u. i used to get up to 32kB. but now! i have got this connection via distributor. they told me that BTTB has some issues with their machines (Chines crap). it cant hold a huge bandwidth as the users r increasing. although, they told to trust them..but i cant. they guess it cant be fixed till December...

Ya thats the thing Salman bhai. The users are increasing day by day. Why arent other ISP's doing anything about?

@plasma, Its true that BTTB doesnt have the adequate equipment. Hopefully as the country becomes more internet aware, ISP's will pay more taxes and we'll all have dedicated bandwidth. I wonder how the upcoming election is going to affect this and everything else.

Did I mention before that they rely heavily on their cache server (Bluecoat)? Apparently Bronze package is actually 128K shared, but goes upto 256K bcz of the cache. I'm not too sure about this, just heard it from someone who wanted to apply for Smile distribution. So I take it all packages are half of the advertised?
