Space-saving primarily. We want smaller stuff housing hardware strictly for office work/networking (like sempron 2.8ghz, 500gb hdd, internal modem, Lan-card, etc.
    Mobility secondary.

Not enough space inside - how efficient would be heat dissipation? How many fans in total?

AFAIK- measurement is the line running through the center of the fan from one outer blade tip to the opposite outer blade tip. See the vid.

Ahhh... that makes some sense finally!
These two fans are approx 90mm and I am afraid that no fan's gonna suit on my GPU!

Heat dissipation for this type of casing is downright horrible. These are actually meant to accommodate components that feature passive cooling and low profile in size. The one/two fans are there just to serve the purpose of removing heat yield from the hardwares to out of the chassis only so that the warm air won't trap within the case. PSU size is subject to differ with casing dimension, by the way. The one I've seen use a different from factor than generic PSU. Expansion slots are usually vertical and max two optical roms can be mounted there.
It might be not half bad solution for casual computing and specially for a little too congested space. I however, strictly avoid this if I need to run that pc for 24/7 along with several hardwares equipped with active cooling to cool themselves.
