Default Which console is better for hardcore shooting game like CoD MW3 BF3

guys i have convinced my mom enough to buy me a console but i'm kinda confused . most of the time i play hardcore fps. So which console will suit me better ? i like ps3 more though but xbox controller is awesome. what about psn ? is it really that bad ? i mean what features can i get if i use psn from bangaldesh ? Ive heard that i have to update my games almost 2/3 times in a week..that sucks i have 512kbps internet speed . how large are those updates ? and what do you think of xbox ? i'm noob at console ..you are not. so your frank suggestion will help me a lot. may be it will help you nothing but it may help me buy a better console. plz guys plz reply.

console for fps?not really my opinion.

still...................if u wanna go live on ps3.ur net speed is ok the problem is psn servers are mostly located in Europe thus you will get high pings(AFAIHS) there are some in asia but due to isp complications u can or cant play in those servers/depends(with link3 my frnd cant play bf2 and i can with qubee)

well if you just wanna play some single player and mostly online waste your money on a pc and get a original disc of your desired fps game you will be far better off.but it will cost a bit more than a console.

In USA most ppl play on consoles. Very FEW ppl play games on PC. My theory is that alot of ppl are either too lazy or stupid to install the games. Plus, its more consistent to play on console, since graphics/requirements isnt an issue. But from the games my bro plays on the PS3, i can tell you its not as fun as fps on PC. Since ur using console-controller, you wont be able to aim as perfect, and thats why gameplay is reduced to hit-and-run as opposed to strategy/camping, even sniping is hard.

there is nothing better than a pc for fps games... But if console is a must for you, choose xbox. Shooter experience is much better on xbox than ps3, but unfortunately u have to pay for multiplayer :$

I'm sure i suck more than others, thats why i dont play with it, but my brother does.
and ive observed the gameplay of other players online mode, and gameplay is basically reduced to: hit-&-run> get shot> spawn and repeat.
on the PC, only some ppl hit-&run, but i always played strategically. its always easy to use mouse to aim, and use keyboard to maneuver yourself.

Thats exactly why controller is crap for shooter games. Pulling headshots are totally impossible... U gotta run across the arena with guns blazing

Yep, its just spray-&-pray!! But its still pretty popular in America, cuz ppl dont play on the PC at all. Thats why console games have such high-sales, especially fps like COD.

More ppl play games on iPhone than PC. Infact, desktop-computers as a whole are quickly becoming obsolete here and being replaced by laptops, netbooks, tablets and smart-phones!

People there aint too serious about gaming. Thats why they dont go with the hassles of a pc (i mean upgrading, installing and stuff). But hey! Practice makes a man perfect. I saw a halo reach match on star sports. They were playing on xbox, but, wth! All of them were using snipers, and they werent missing a shot!! Of course they are pros, but if u practice a lot u can reach that level too. If u aren't tooooo serious about shooters (like participating in wcg etc), u can go with any of those consoles. Personally, i would choose an xbox360. I have played cod black ops on both xbox and ps3, but xbox xperience was a bit better (perhaps the controller pattern works out better for me). Plus, xbox puts more emphasis on shooters (thus u have games like halo, gow etc)

Ofcourse practice makes perfect. there are ppl who use their feet to do their daily chores, but that doesnt mean the rest of us. My brother's pretty good too, but just go online and see the environment, a couple of snipers (sure) and 95% spray-&-pray'ers. It feels unrealistic and just a game of spawn-&-respawn.

Thats because the games nowadays are being made that way. If you want competition/want to build skills then PC is still the platform of choice.

I think some of you might remember the cross platform multiplayer tests that was held when FPS' just made it to the console multiplayer scene and guess what, the console guys were owned by the PC players, surely you can play First Person Shooters with a controller, and you can play multiplayer and have fun too on consoles, but if you're talking about skills, I'm not taking anything away from the console players, but the ppl using pc would pawn them any given day no matter how adept you are with the controller, so the choice is up to you, take the console route for fun time passing and pure entertainment pleasure, or choose pc for serious multiplayer skill development, the choice is yours.

to those who think that the number of console players is more than pc players (for fps), ur wrong... Statistics showed that in 2011 70% fps players were pc gamers and 30% were console... And in 2012 its predicted that consoles won't hold up as strong as pc's...
Console jodi rule korto tailay to nvidia, ati desktop cards banano bondho koray dito....

Neways, i totally agree with what K' bhaiya said.... Its ur call... But i wud prefer pc over console ne day

Who wouldn't prefer pc over console, especially in bangladesh? But sometimes i consider getting console when i see awesome titles getting released only for consoles . Damn those lazy greedy developers . But still, i will stick to pc, cuz i am a born fps player

suddenly from controller vs mouse/keyboard it is shifting towards PC vs console ........
being loyal to ONE the loss is ours......as one is missing is missing all the xciting titles other platforms offer
as a gamer one should have practise nd taste of every platform

Ok guys, lets stop the pc vs consol arguement. OP wants to know which console is better for multiplayer fps games. I think xbox is better for fps, but setting up xbox live and using it in bangladesh can cause u some serious pain in the arse. Naved bro, u use ps3, right? Why dont u share ur multiplayer experience? Also kindly mention some console players of bg... I dont know many yet...
